This happy boy is Boo! Boo is an approximately 4-year old male Heeler mix and weighs around 60 lbs. Boo was rescued from a rural town in Oklahoma. Boo is very sweet and affectionate! He loves attention. Boo loves to run and plays well with most female dogs. Recommend no other male dogs in the home. He is not overtly aggressive at all, he just wonât back down if challenged. Boo needs an active home with an active family or individual who will include him in activities. Boo seems to be house and crate-trained (but would prefer to be not crated). He is very strong and we recommend an Easy Walker type leash as he LOVES walks. BOO IS CURRENTLY IN A BOARDING FACILITY, SO IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT, PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING BOO! Boo is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $140. For information on adopting or fostering Boo, contact Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org.

This handsome boy is Lenny! Lenny is an approximately 3-year old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix and weighs around 80 lbs. Lenny was rescued off the streets of OKC. Lenny is a very affectionate and sweet boy who craves human interaction. He loves to play and is great with other dogs. He needs a home without children under 15 years old. Lenny also requires a home check and a stockade fence. Since Lenny has only been in boarding since we have had him, we do not know if he is house-trained but he does keep a clean kennel. He is not a fan of crates and would do best with an Easy Walker type leash due to his strength. LENNY IS CURRENTLY IN A BOARDING FACILITY, SO IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT, PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING LENNY! Lenny is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $140. For information on adopting Lenny, contact Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org.

This soulful girl is Georgia! Georgia is an approximately 6-year old female Treeing Walker Hound mix and weighs around 60 lbs. Georgia was originally rescued from a horrible shelter in Louisiana 5 years ago. She was immediately adopted from the rescue. After 4 years of living in the same place, she was surrendered back to the rescue due a divorce. Georgia was traumatized at the desertion. Georgia is now in a foster home and little improvements are seen gradually. She is still very shy as she is uncertain of her place in this world. Divorce is devastating for more than the humans involved. Georgia has so much potential, she just needs someone willing to be patient and give her space to feel safe and loved. She is very loyal to her people and has so much love to give to the right family or person. She needs a quiet home without small children or high energy dogs. Georgia is house, crate, and leash trained. Georgia is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $140. For information on adopting Georgia, contact Michelle at email@example.com.

Faith is a beautiful, healthy 2.5-year old female Lab/Pit Bull mix. She was rescued from the streets. Faith is super sweet, just wants to please. Very outgoing & friendly, she is very high energy. She needs an active owner and/or family. She knows how to sit & shake. She loves to ride in the car, loads right up. She would probably be good with older kids, but not small ones. She is good with other dogs as long as they are easygoing & laidback. No cats, her prey drive is too strong. Faith will also need a secure 6ft stockade fence. Faith is house and crate trained, but will need assistance with leash training. We recommend an Easy Walker type of leash due to her strength. Say hello to Emmy! Emmy is a 5-year old Pit Bull and weighs around 55 pounds. Emmy was found on the Southside of OKC in the middle of traffic just trying to cross the street. Emmy is a fun girl who loves to play with toys (at times she does destroy them) and go on walks but yet is a huge cuddle bug. Emmy is a very strong girl physically and mentally so she will need a human who is firm yet still gentle. She is easily corrected but at times she will try and push her luck! As cute as she is who can blame her for trying to get her way! smile emoticon Emmy needs to be an only fur baby! Definitely NO cats or other small critters. Despite our efforts in getting Emmy extra training we feel she would do best as only dog. She has been in a play group at doggy daycare and doing well but still needs to be monitored. Emmy LOVES people and is very gentle with children. She does get a little over excited at times and can knock smaller kids down. Emmy is house trained and crate trained but can bust out of a crate very easliy. Because of her strength an Easy Walker type leash (we can show a few that work for her) is recommended. Emmy was heartworm positive when we took her in. She has received treatment and is on monthly preventative (VERY important for her to continue to be on). She is spayed, microchipped and current on all her vaccines. Emmy's adoption fee is $140. EMMY IS CURRENTLY IN A BOARDING FACILITY, SO IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT, PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING EMMY! If you are interested in adopting or fostering Emmy, please contact Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org
