 . Keegan .
 . Keegan . . Keegan . . Keegan .
My name is Keegan and I'm an approximately 4-year old male Pointer/Boxer/Pit Bull mix and weigh 70 lbs. My friend and I were abandoned in the country. She was a little thing and very sick. Some nice people took her to their house and tried to help her, but it was too late. I'm just grateful that my friend left this world surrounded by people who cared. The nice people didn't forget about me!! They came back and this time I let them take me, knowing that my friend was gone. They didn't have anywhere to keep me so I was taken to a local animal shelter and they contacted Forever Yours to see if they could help. Keegan is not overtly aggressive to other dogs and does fine being around them at adoption outreaches, but doesn’t really like to share with his space, food, or humans with another dog. So he does need to be an only dog! He is very friendly to people! Do not recommend a home with cats. Keegan is crate trained (but not a fan), recommend an Easy Walker type harness for walking, and he appears house-trained but has been in boarding so we can’t promise that he is. KEEGAN IS CURRENTLY IN BOARDING AND IN NEED OF AN ADOPTER, FOSTER, OR FOSTER TO ADOPT. SECURE STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED! HOME CHECK REQUIRED! Keegan is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in being a foster or foster-to-adopt for Keegan, please contact Kim at kvaleriovilla@cox.net If you are interested in adopting Keegan, contact Michelle at Shelby0324@aol.com

 . Katt .
 . Katt . . Katt . . Katt . . Katt . . Katt .
Say hello to a dog named Katt! Katt is an approximately 2.5 year old female Boxer/Pit Bull mix and weighs around 65 lbs. Katt was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma that does not do public adoptions. Katt is a very friendly and outgoing and loves every human she meets! She can be selective about other dogs but has several playmates in boarding. She does love to play with the right dog and would do better in a home with a playful dog who plays “rough”! She needs to meet any dogs in the household before adoption. Very affectionate and loyal! Katt is crate and house-trained. We recommend a Martingale-type collar for her. Katt is good with children but due to her size and energy level, we recommend a home with children over 8. If you want a trial period with Katt she is CURRENTLY IN BOARDING AND IN NEED OF A FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME. SECURE STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED! HOME CHECK REQUIRED! Katt is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested fostering Katt, please contact Kim at kvaleriovilla@cox.net. If you wanting to adopt Katt, please contact Michelle at Shelby03234@aol.com

 . Calico Jack .
 . Calico Jack . . Calico Jack . . Calico Jack . . Calico Jack .
Say hello to handsome Calico Jack (CJ) CJ is an approximately 6.5-month old male Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit Bull mix and will weigh around 45-50 lbs as an adult. He was born with a birth defect in his right eye, and abandoned because of it. He was rescued by a good Samaritan who had the eye evaluated by a vet and it was determined that leaving the eye would cause CJ more discomfort than removing it. CJ is a very sweet and mild mannered guy. He can be shy at first but with love and attention, he comes around quickly! He is very smart and learned (for the most part) to walk on a leash in just a couple hours. Friendly to people and other animals. He is great with children and other dogs. CJ loves to play and wrestle with other dogs but he is not an overly energetic dog, so the perfect canine friend for him would be another medium level energy dog. CJ is great in a crate, good on a leash (but may need some practice). He is probably 50% house-trained, so will need assistance in that area. CJ IS CURRENTLY IN BOARDING AND IN NEED OF A FOREVER OR FOSTER HOME. IF YOU AREN'T READY TO ADOPT YET, PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING CJ! HE IS ELIGIBLE FOR A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT! CJ is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. For information on adopting or fostering CJ, please contact Michelle at michelle@foreveroursokc.org.

This sweet boy is Goku. He is an approximately 4.5-year old Labrador/Retriever mix who weighs about 55 lbs. He was surrendered to the rescue when his previous owner moved out of state. Goku loves to play with his dog friends and is good with dogs of all sizes. He is outgoing and friendly to new people. He plays at Camp Bow Wow and does great with all the dogs and people there. He is also good with kids! He is a little nervous around men but does warm up. He has been around cats and does well with them. Goku would like a home where he has an active family or individual to keep him busy and play with him. He would also love another dog in the home to play with. Goku was surrendered with his brother Vegeta. THEY CAN GO TO SEPARATE HOMES BUT IF ADOPTED TOGETHER, THE ADOPTION FEE IS REDUCED TO $200 FOR BOTH. Goku is crate, leash, and house trained. . Emmy .
 . Emmy . . Emmy . . Emmy . . Emmy .
This beautiful girl is Emmy! Emmy is an approximately 6.5-year old female Pit Bull Terrier and weighs around 55 lbs. Emmy was found in Oklahoma City, in the middle of traffic, trying to cross a busy street. Emmy is a fun girl who loves to play with toys (and destroy them). Her favorite thing in the whole world (besides spending time with her people) is a good squeaky toy! She loves to go on walks and cuddle. Emmy loves people, especially children of all ages, she is very gentle with them. Although she has made a couple doggy friends at daycare, she needs to be an only dog. She is not overtly aggressive to other dogs but doesn’t mesh with all dogs. NO CATS OR OTHER SMALL CRITTERS. Emmy does not do well in the heat and CANNOT be left out in the heat for very long at all. Emmy is leash and house trained. She is not a fan of crates but will settle in one, and is okay to be left in the house uncrated. She does best on an Easy Walker type of leash due to her strength. Emmy is a low-key girl. EMMY IS CURRENTLY IN BOARDING AND IN NEED OF A FOREVER OR FOSTER HOME. SHE DOES QUALIFY AS A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT. HOME CHECK REQUIRED. STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED, UNLESS IN AN APARTMENT. Emmy is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. This handsome boy is Eddie and he is looking for his forever home with lots of toys and snuggle time. He is an approximately 14-month old male Border Collie/Labrador mix who weighs about 45-50 lbs. Eddie has the softest fur and once you meet him you'll never want to stop petting him. Eddie loves to play with his dog friends in his foster home and loves to snuggle. He is a really sweet dog who thrives around other dogs and does great at doggy daycare. Eddie is good with kids. He has lived with a 9-month old baby and did very well with her when she crawled/walked around. However, he can be shy so older kids might be a better fit for him. No cats! Eddie's forever home wish list consists of a home with a doggy friend to play with and a family that will spend a lot of time cuddling and giving him attention. He's a little shy at first so he needs a family who will be patient with him while he gets to know them! Eddie is house, leash, and crate trained. HOME VISIT REQUIRED! SECURE STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED! Eddie is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $150. For information on adopting Eddie, please contact Michelle at michelle@foreveryoursokc.org.

 . Daisy . . Daisy . . Daisy .
This sweetheart is Daisy! Daisy is an approximately 14-month old female Hound mix and weighs around 70 lbs. She was surrendered to rescue when her owner had a change in living situation. Daisy is very active and playful. She is excellent with other dogs and loves children (but may be too active for toddlers or small children). She needs an active home and preferably another playful dog to help her burn energy. She is affectionate and smart! Daisy loves to go on walks and to doggy daycare (which really helps her burn energy)! Daisy needs daily exercise and interaction with her family. She requires a secure stockade fenced back yard. Daisy is vocal when at events, but calmer in a home environment. She is crate and house trained. She is okay on a leash but we recommend an Easy Walker type leash for more control. Like many hounds, Daisy loves life and is curious of everything going on around her, so including her in family events is important. HOME CHECK REQUIRED. SECURE STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED. Daisy is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. For information on adopting Daisy, contact Michelle at michelle@foreveryoursokc.org

This cutie is Chase! He is an approximately 10-month old Labrador mix who will weigh around 35-40 lbs. as an adult. Chase was rescued from a flea market. Chase loves to play! He is great at playing with the other dogs in his foster home and loves to play with toys. Chase has a shy guy personality until you get to know him, then he becomes your shadow and is a wonderful cuddler. His foster mom always talks about what a great dog he is. Chase is good with kids and dogs of all sizes. He was in a foster home with cats and did well with them so is likely good with cats. Chase would like a home with an active family who will play and exercise him. He is a really sweet boy who would love a family of his own. He’d also do best in a home with another dog to play with as he’s spent the past 10 months of his life with dog playmates. Chase is leash, house, and crate trained. In his foster home, he uses a doggy door and does not have accidents. He pulls a little on the leash but is working on it. Chase is neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots. Bubba is a laid back guy who wants to be with his person/people. He is loving with an awesome demeanor. You can kennel him, but he is able to be loose in the house without issue. SECURE STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED! Bubba is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. . Alex .
 . Alex . . Alex . . Alex . . Alex .
This cutie is Alex! Alex is an approximately 14-month old Pug/Chihuahua mix and weighs around 20 lbs. Alex is a happy and very active boy! He needs a home where he can get lots of exercise and play time! He is good with other dogs but can play rough and might be too much for really small or elderly dogs. Alex can be a little stingy with his toys so it is recommended that he be monitored if playing with toys around other dogs. Alex would be fine as an only dog if he gets plenty of exercise and attention! Like most Chihuahuas, he can be hard-headed, so he needs patience. He will need direction. Alex is not a fan of cats and likes to chase and bark at them, so no cats for Alex! He is fine with the foster’s older child, so not sure how he would be around small children. He loves walks and riding in the car on outings! He also can be a snuggler on the couch, after he is tired out! A little time in the yard playing fetch will help burn his energy. Alex is house, leash, and crate trained. He scratches on the door to go out at his foster home. SECURE FENCE REQUIRED! Alex is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. For information on adopting Alex, contact Michelle at michelle@foreveryoursokc.org
